Turn a Game Boy Advance into a home console and play your games on a big screen, with the GBHD consolizer diy kit.
No emulation! with all original hardware, the GBHD Advance offers a completely custom and unique way to experience classic game boy titles. The Gameboy Advance signals from original hardware are fed into a custom engineered PCB and processed for digital HDMI out with SNES controller input. The sleek 3D printed enclosure is the cherry on top to make the consolizer a perfect center piece for any gaming or creation setup.
This mod does require technical soldering to a high degree of accuracy, as you will need to solder individual pin legs on the CPU IC located on the GBA motherboard, it is recommended to have this installed professionally if you are not experienced with soldering small detailed parts. The installation of the mod is done at the owners risk, please read the warranty information below.
GBHD supports any SNES controller controllers, whether it be an OEM controller or 3rd party controller, wired or wireless, plug it in and start gaming!
The software menu built into the custom offers a variety of setting option which can be set by accessing the on screen display menus (OSD)
No weird proprietary power connectors are needed to make use of GBHD, only a USB-C cable is required for power. The system runs at approximately 350mA-400mA,this low power consumption means that it can be powered via any USB port such as a computer USB.
The 3D printed enclosure for GBHD Advance has been reworked repeatedly for form and functionality, it also utilises brass screw threadings, making opening and closing the enclosure simplistic.
Utilizing the proprietary Gamebox digital video core, the GBHD Retro consolizer has the ability to output both 480p (720×480 progressive), 720p (1280×720 progressive), and *1080i (1920×1080 interlaced) for maximum compatibility with HDMI enabled televisions and monitors. Resolutions are configurable via options in the OSD menu.
*1080i picture quality depends on the TV/monitor built in deinterlacer and quality will vary between devices in 1080i mode.
**It is STRONGLY recommended that you use a high quality gold plated HDMI cable for maximum screen compatibility!
With the additional screen real estate, GBHD scales the tiny 240×160 original Gameboy Advance resolution! By default, the processed image is linearly upscaled 3x in 480p, 4x in 720p, and 6x in 1080i with customizable border colors. Don’t want borders around the image? Not a problem! The image can be stretched to full screen with an overscan option.
Give your consolizer experience a retro CRT feel with 4 adjustable scanline modes. Scanlines range in size, and progressively get wider to simulate the feeling of sitting in front an old tube television.
GBHD Advance comes equipped with pixel smoothing (bilinear filtering at 2x, 3x, and 4x options) and gamma correction filtering options for the maximum enjoyment of the games. Make the edge of pixels smooth with the smoothing feature and make the colors true to the original with gamma correction.

Check the height of your keyboard before ordering
This is a beautifully made, elegant looking wrist rest. The finish is satin perfectly smooth to the touch. As keyboards vary in height, be sure to measure he height of the front edge of yours before ordering—I didn’t (which is entirely my fault) and found that this wrist rest is just a wee bit too tall, which positioned my wrists a tad higher than I’m used to. Another factor you may want to consider are the ergonomics of solid wood versus other materials and your personal preferences (e.g., I tend to prefer cloth covered gel, because he cloth keeps my wrists from sticking and the gel is cushioning). My closing thought: this wrist rest is that it is by far the best looking of any wrist rest I’ve ever seen.

Simply outstanding.

For years I was against monitor risers and stands as a concept easily defeated by VESA mount on monitor arms, but I overlooked a secondary function that monitor risers have: Display and storage.
I have too many keyboards. Three that I regularly use. Now I can throw two of them in a drawer when not in use, or I can look at them and appreciate them all the time. I’m not a fan the usual keyboard displays either: awkward acrylic stepladders that they are. So had to figure out something else.
I also have a headphone amplifier that I like quite a bit but was just sitting out on the desktop.
So I looked at seemingly every monitor riser that exists on Amazon, and elsewhere and found that this Fenge product (Rodin on their website) fits the intersection of value, good build quality, and beautiful design aesthetic. Unlike the Hexcal shelf, which has great build quality and design, but costs $600+, for $109 (at time of purchase), you get a visually intriguing multilevel riser with aluminum hairpin feet, good sturdy materials, a beautiful (albeit synthetic) warm walnut finish (though available in four other finishes as well). Cleans easily with a dry or lightly damp rag. This isn’t your Mind Reader riser with all function but being an eye sore. It’s also pricey enough and has an interesting enough product to feel premium without being unreasonably priced for what you get.
Building it was a pleasure. Packed so well, and everything in order as far as parts go. Wasn’t missing any, assembled so easily, and even better to see in person than in pictures.
I have a 72” desk and had to rearrange some things to fit it, but well worth it. It serves the functions I need, but if you need more from it (like holding your devices), there’s another variant with phone, headphone and laptop stand built into this design. Also, if this isn’t visually interesting enough, there’s a third version with RGB and an acrylic lower shelf to create some illuminating pop on your workspace. As you can see, my workspace has no shortage of illumination as is, so I skipped that.
But I think it did well. It partially displays my keyboard collection, stores my headphone amp, can hold a pen or two as I study, and I don’t need it to do much more on the regular.
I know it won’t fit every desk aesthetic, but if you already have tech statement pieces on your desk, this may be the perfect complement.

Well made and stylish riser for my sit stand desk.

I got this to provide a place to tuck my 49 key Arturia keyboard. The only thing I wish they would offer is a taller leg option by 1 or 2 inches in height. Regardless this thing is a beast and will easily hold a wide screen monitor or dual 27” monitors and space to tuck your laptop underneath on the middle shelf out of the way. I happen to have my monitor on an arm to provide even more usable space on the top. I have a USB switch on the right middle shelf and room for my AirPods on the left with room to spare. My Apple pencils fit perfectly on the tray as well as my iPad. In order to make this work for my application I ended up getting some acrylic cubes and silicone bumpers and pads to raise the height by two inches so my 49 key keyboard would easily fit underneath. It turned out really well for the look I wanted. If the legs were longer I wouldn’t have had to take it this far. The color is pure white and matches my desk color perfectly. It was super easy to put together. It is very solid and has a durable easy to clean finish. All in all I have no regrets making this purchase. It is very functional even without the height modifications that were specific to my needs. I will come back with a photo or two once I get settled in my new place and finish getting my studio set back up.

Saved my neck and my desk space! Solid and stylish

I’ve been looking for a way to raise my dual 27-inch monitors, and this Fenge stand is perfect. The 42.5-inch length is exactly what I needed—both monitors fit with room to spare. It’s raised them to the perfect ergonomic height, so no more neck strain!
The wood finish looks much more expensive than it actually is, and the storage space underneath is a lifesaver for hiding my docking station and keyboard when I'm done for the day. It feels very sturdy and doesn't bow in the middle at all. If you want a clean, organized desk, this is the way to go.
